For the past ten years, team members at Encompass Solutions have provided staff and strategic support for a national social impact network—the Oral Health Progress & Equity Network (OPEN) is a network of policymakers, healthcare providers, public health advocates, and grassroots organizers united in demanding access to oral health care, for all. We are proud to have supported this network’s impacts:
- Elevated oral health as a social justice issue born from inequity
- Created a model for lasting networks that can mobilize practitioners, advocates, and policymakers to create
sustained impact - Connected a diverse set of partners in all 50 states at the local, state, and national levels
- Built a community of nearly 3,000 members nationwide
- Advanced policy changes, advocating for oral health care to be a part of Medicare and Medicaid
- Engaged a range of diverse stakeholders across issue areas to address the intersecting social determinants of health and
well-being
